The picture
Gyeong-Jin is metal lying in rich, wet earth. The Dragon’s Earth produces Yang Metal, so the blade is well supplied and waiting for its use. This is one of the four Kui Gang pillars: bold, capable and uncompromising. Gyeong-Jin thinks on a large scale and holds itself and others to a hard standard. It tends toward all or nothing.
What the pillar is made of
| Part | In Gyeong-Jin |
|---|---|
| Day Master | 庚 Gyeong, Yang Metal |
| Day branch | 辰 Jin, the Dragon |
| Hidden stems | 乙 Eul: Direct Wealth癸 Gye: Hurting Officer戊 Mu: Indirect Resource (main) |
| Life stage | Nurture 養 |
| Void branches | 申 Sin (Monkey), 酉 Yu (Rooster) |
| Stars it carries | Canopy Star, Ildeok, Kui Gang |
The Day Master sits on the element that produces it, in the same polarity. Support is there and comes in its own way: a private inner life, unusual interests, and a partner who is more mentor than companion.
These are the facts every Gyeong-Jin chart shares, whatever the other three pillars hold. They are taken from the same engine that calculates your chart.
Strengths
- Natural command of a room.
- Strategic thinking on a large scale.
- Resilience after setbacks that would stop others.
What to watch
- Severity toward weakness, its own included.
- All-or-nothing decisions.
- Pride that will not ask for help.
In relationships
A strong character that needs a partner of equal strength. Gyeong-Jin respects those who stand their ground and is gentler in private than it lets on.
At work
The military, law, engineering, finance and leadership of any kind.
